How to Setup Product Catalog & Collections on Whatsapp Business API

In today’s fast-paced world, customers expect instant access to products and services — right from their favorite chat apps. With WhatsApp Business API, you can showcase your products using Catalogs and Collections, making the buying journey smoother and faster.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you set it up easily!
Step 1: Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- A WhatsApp Business API account (approved by Meta).
- A verified business on Meta Business Manager.
- Access to Commerce Manager to manage catalogs.
- Proper integration support — either via your provider or direct setup.
Step 2 : Setup Facebook Catalog and Collection
- Go to Facebook Commerce https://business.facebook.com/commerce
- Click on Add Product to start creating catalog
- Add basic info about your catalog and choose the platform type (Shopify, woocomerce, other, etc.)
- You can create a catalog via Google Sheet or Adding one-by-one products.
- Wow, product list has been updated. You can create collections as well by Clicking on Set.
Step 3 : Now, Provide catalog access to Getgabs Whatsapp Business API
- Click here : https://business.facebook.com/select/
- Now, select the business portfolio and go to Catalog under Data Source
- Choose the right catalog, click on Assign Partner and Choose Assign Partner by Business ID.
- Under Business ID, Copy and Paste ID : 416471564653722 and turn ON the manage catalog
- Click on Next.
Step 4 : Now, you will see a cart button on your Whatsapp Business API number
- Now go to Whatsapp Manager
- Select Catalog and click on Connect Catalog
- Wow, Final Screen will be showing connected catalog
Step 5 : You can check the product list on Getgabs and synchronise products
- Login to getgabs panel and go to Catalog >> Product List
Step 6 : Once you get any confirmed order by your customer, check out on your Getgabs panel
- Go to Catalog >> Orders
